Hi! My name is Advaitha K., and I’m an incoming medical student at New Jersey Medical School.
I applied in early May and received my acceptance by August 1st—one of the earliest parts of the cycle—so I understand firsthand how to navigate this process efficiently. While the medical school application journey can be difficult and overwhelming, I genuinely believe that with a structured plan, strong writing, and the right support system, it’s a process that can be conquered and even empowering.
I graduated from Rutgers University with Honors, earning a 4.0 GPA in 4 out of 8 of my semesters. Coming from a large university, I made it a priority not only to excel academically but also to build meaningful experiences and find communities that helped shape the story I told in my applications. Through a wide range of extracurriculars — including dance roles, cultural community service, and clinical involvement — I learned how to craft a cohesive narrative that stood out.
Over the years, I’ve helped others also tell their story and do the same through college applications, including 3 students I recently guided through the application process who were accepted into their top-choice medical school. I love helping students articulate their experiences in a way that feels authentic and true to their voice.
Beyond writing support, I have six years of tutoring experience in AP Biology, MCAT subjects, and elementary teaching. I have consistently performed at a high level in all my science and pre-medical coursework, earning a Magna Cum Laude GPA. I focus on personalizing to each student’s learning style.
