I wrote an undergraduate thesis in college. It's been a while, but I compared and contrasted five proofs of the Golden Theorem. In the paper I discuss various topics related to Number Theory, such as the unit circle, Gauss's Lemma, and Gaussian sums. I completed my course work with a 3.2 GPA.
I like studying and talking about math stuff. I have done moderately well in school, and I am confident that I can answers most of my students' questions. Students should feel free to ask plenty of questions, and they should never become discouraged. School can be hard. I find it hard at times too, and I have no problem re-explaining any part of the material with a graph, picture, and even a jingle. 😁
Most of the students that I have worked with usually stuggle with study habits. Over the years, I have grown to improve in my habits of learning. I myself really didn't know how to study until college. I hope I can be a good mentor to other aspiring mathematicians.
