Reading Specialist and Veteran Educator Who Loves Teaching

I am an educator who loves to teach children. I have 40 years of teaching experience in K-5 elementary schools. I have worked as a reading specialist for 13 years. I have also taught in the classroom. My experience includes tutoring for over 35 years with students from preschool to adult. I am also Orton-Gillingham trained.

I have a Masters in Reading with reading specialist certification. I have worked at Brookdale Community College in the reading lab. I also have a second Masters degree in Library Science. All of these require expertise in English.

I also taught basic skills writing for 13 years in an elementary setting.

I would love to have the opportunity to design and implement a custom plan to help you or your child find success in the subject areas in which we would work together. Helping a student to find success in learning is a joy to experience.
