Hi! I’m Shayaan, a senior Biology and Public Health major on the pre-medical track at The College of New Jersey. My academic background is rooted in the sciences, and I have extensive coursework in biology, chemistry, physiology, and health sciences. I’ve also completed advanced research projects and served in leadership roles within public health initiatives, which have strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. As a pre-med student preparing for the MCAT, I deeply understand what it takes to master challenging material and perform well on exams.
I have experience teaching and mentoring students in both one-on-one and group settings. I’ve worked as a peer educator and have led workshops where I break down difficult scientific concepts into simple, understandable steps. My tutoring style focuses on clarity, active recall, and practice-based learning. Rather than just reviewing notes, I help students understand the “why” behind the material so they can apply it confidently on tests. I tailor sessions based on each student’s needs. Whether that means reinforcing foundational concepts, improving study strategies, or preparing for specific exams.
Students and parents can expect patience, structure, and encouragement in every session. I work well with middle school, high school, and college students, especially in biology, general chemistry, and health sciences. My goal is not only to improve grades but to build confidence and independent learning skills that last beyond our sessions. I genuinely enjoy helping students succeed and would love the opportunity to support your academic journey.
