My name is Rishi Bhatnagar, and I am a senior software engineer at major finance firm. I did my Bachelor's in Electronics & Telecommunication in 1999 where I was in the top 5 in my college. I then did my Masters in Human Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University in 2001, and a final project with NASA as a part of it and graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
I have been building software for over 20 years and have done a few robotic projects such as a robotic glove as my Bachelors project, a self-moving chess board prototype in 2000 as my Masters project, etc. I have also written a paper on Quantum Computing when I worked at a bank in 2014 and have 3 published papers in industry journals. I also help organize and run an autism hackathon every year and have 2 patents pending - one of them in augmented reality.
I love teaching, especially high school students. I have 2 boys - a senior and a sophomore - in high school, and I am currently teaching them AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science, Algebra 2, and AP Computer Science Principles. I have taught other students in the past, including physics, chemistry, computer engineering, and mathematics to a college student.
I have always enjoyed teaching and especially its very satisfying to see someone develop an interest in a STEM subject. Although, I can help A students get an A+, I would like to help those students who are either struggling with a particular topic or would like to go from C to B, or B to A as well.
