Hi! My name is Matthew, and I’m excited to help students reach their academic goals. I’ve always been passionate about learning, which led me to earn dual degrees in Biology and French & Francophone Studies. Through these programs, I gained valuable experience in both scientific and language-based research, developing strong skills in writing, organization and critical thinking.
In addition to my academic background, I served as the Managing Editor of my university’s newspaper, where I honed my ability to proofread and edit for grammar, structure and flow. I’ve also tutored students from middle school through college in subjects such as biology, French and statistics.
In my sessions, I love incorporating interactive and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable and effective. This can include practicing conversation, improving writing, or breaking down complex concepts. My goal is always to foster confidence, curiosity, and lasting understanding in every student I work with.
