I am a CPA and IRS Enrolled Agent with nearly 10 years of experience in a diverse range of accounting and taxation disciplines. My experience with educating others in these disciplines stretches over an even greater time period (I was very often "that guy" who everyone came to for help in high school/college accounting/tax courses!) I also hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting (GPA 4.0 for both).

My experience with educating others in these disciplines stretches over an even greater time period (I was very often "that guy" who everyone came to for help in high school/college accounting/tax courses!) I also hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting (GPA 4.0 for both).

I took my first accounting class as a high school junior and immediately fell in love with the subject matter. 13 years later, there is nothing I enjoy more (professionally) than being a part of the accounting/tax learning of students, peers, friends, etc.! As an educator, I have worked with hundreds of students across a variety of courses, including introductory financial/managerial accounting, intermediate accounting, advanced accounting, individual & business taxation, and CPA and Enrolled Agent exam prep. My goal is to make these topics as easy and accessible as I am able, and I strive to do this through patience, enthusiasm, passion for the material, and meeting each student where they are. No matter where you are in your accounting/tax/CPA/EA journey, if you identify that you need assistance, I would be honored to be a part of your learning!

I am a healthcare prospect who has personally taken the TEAS exam in two recent years, earning overall scores of 96.7% (2025) and 96% (2023), both of which represent the 99th percentile. My success can be mostly attributed to the fact I have excelled in the subjects covered on the TEAS exam in every context - high school, college, and self-study/personal enrichment. I also have considerable experience with test-taking strategy, having studied for and passed the CPA and IRS Enrolled Agent exams, as well as earning solid scores on the GRE, GMAT, ACT, and SAT over the years. Additionally, I have bachelor's and master's degrees, plus 10 years' career experience, in an unrelated field (accounting), all of which have directly contributed to my masterful understanding of the Reading, Math, and English Language sections. My lifelong love of the sciences and continued self-study of these subjects since college has allowed me to excel at the Science section. I have been working as an educator through Wyzant since 2022 and would love to combine my growing experience as an educator with my TEAS subject matter expertise to help students on their TEAS preparation journey!
