My name is Vincent and I'm a physician at a well-known Ivy League residency. I was previously a part of the 7 year TCNJ/NJMS BS/MD program. During my own college application process, I was accepted to other prestigious programs such as NJIT/NJMS BS/MD, Drexel BS/MD, Hofstra BS/MD as well as top undergraduate schools such as UCLA. My name is Vincent and I'm a physician at a well-known Ivy League residency. I was previously a part of the 7 year TCNJ/NJMS BS/MD program. During my own college application process, I was accepted to other prestigious programs such as NJIT/NJMS BS/MD, Drexel BS/MD, Hofstra BS/MD as well as top undergraduate schools such as UCLA. Between the BS and MD, I received a one-year accelerated MPH degree at Columbia University. Over recent years, I've helped many students get into the BS/MD/undergraduate/graduate/medical school of their dreams by assisting them with their applications in terms of essays, interviews, and standardized test preparation. For test preparation, I help with the GRE and SAT, given that my own scores on both were exceptional (167/170- GRE and 800 Math and 780 Reading- total SAT of 1580; all percentiles were 95%+). I primarily work with my students through online (video, phone calls, email etc.) given that many of my students are not in the local NJ area. During the 2024-2025 application cycle, students of mine have been accepted to prestigious universities such as Cornell/UC Berkeley/Carnegie Mellon/Tulane TPM/UCLA, and medical schools such as SUNY Upstate/ SUNY Downstate/Drexel.

As a student from a healthcare background, I assist my students through a teach-back method. Not only can they follow my advice, they also get to show what they learned so that I can further correct them and see what learning techniques best suit their own style. After all, I like to have my students learn smarter, not harder.

I have assisted more than dozens of students get in the college of their dreams, including UCLA, UVA, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins University and NYU. Furthermore, for many of the same students, I also helped them get into BSMD and BAMD combined medical programs, such as Drexel, Hofstra, FAU, NJMS and Albany Medical College. So far in the current application cycle (2024), one of my students has gotten into Cornell's Business School.

Over the past few years, I have helped students of mine get into prestigious medical schools, combined medical programs, and undergraduate universities (such as Brown, Cornell etc.). One key component to this is through helping them with interview preparation. I do mock interviews with my students, and provide detailed and personalized advice to help portray them in the best light possible. I assist with both traditional interviews as well as MMI interviews.

I scored a 517 on the MCAT back in 2020 (94%). My best section was CARS (130, 98%), so I specialize in helping students on this section. Since graduating from undergrad, I've helped more then a dozen students greatly increase their overall scores from baseline (at least 5+ points). Additionally, I teach my students how to optimize their test-taking skills by helping them understand how to best read and comprehend passage/question stems efficiently.

Over the past couple years, students of mine have been accepted into prestigious medical schools, undergraduate schools, and combined medical programs. I attribute much of this to helping them with their personal statements. I particularly focus on helping my students develop their own, unique writer's voice, rather then conform to a "recipe" or "script". I want to help them shine and showcase how special their own stories are.

In addition, as a sophomore in high school, I scored a 1490/1520 on the PSAT and qualified as a National Merit Finalist for the state of New Jersey. Since then, I have been helping numerous students with their own SAT journeys and have on average helped them increased their scores by ~50 points.
