My name is Mina, and I am an English tutor with a passion for helping others learn the language in a clear and practical way. I hold a TEFL certification, which has equipped me with the training and methods needed to teach English to students of different levels and backgrounds.
I have taught two English courses at my Coptic Orthodox church, where I worked with Arabic-speaking students ranging from teenagers to adults. These courses were designed to help learners build confidence in speaking, strengthen their grammar, and practice everyday vocabulary for real-life situations. My teaching experience has included both group settings and one-on-one support, which has given me the chance to adapt lessons to fit each student’s needs.
As an Egyptian myself, I understand the specific challenges Arabic speakers face when learning English. I use simple explanations, clear examples, and plenty of practice to make sure students feel comfortable and supported. I also encourage questions in Arabic when necessary, so students never feel lost.
My approach is patient, practical, and focused on real communication. I believe learning English should not just be about textbooks—it should prepare you for daily life, school, work, and travel. I want my students to feel motivated, confident, and ready to take advantage of the opportunities that English can bring, especially when it comes to job opportunities and connecting with new communities.
