Hi all,
My name is Kaash and I am a college university sophomore student pursing a degree in Biology and minor in Computer Science. I have scored a 1480 on the SAT, 4 on AP Lit exam, 5 on AP research and seminar, and 4 on the AP computer science exam. I was a part of National Honors Society in high school and am currently in the Honors program of my university. I have taken university level classes in discrete math, calculus, statistics, , genetics, and general chemistry and have gotten As in all. I have volunteered to teach online for elementary school students 1-1 online in the pandemic when I was in high school. They were elementary school students and it was done on Zoom. I taught primarily using online worksheets and examples I used myself.
I work as a teaching assistant for a statistics class I took freshman year. I was able to work in group settings and individually. In class, I would help multiple students if they had questions about the problem sets. Outside of class, I held office hours for students to come in for test corrections or review. I helped improve the grades of these college students and served as an assistant to the professor in a way. My teaching style is hands-on, example-based but can also be tailored to however the student understands the content.
