My name is Anthony Demateis, I am a recent graduate from Rowan university with a Bachelors in Music Education. I am currently not teaching full time and looking to start teaching students Trumpet lessons privately. I have both a substitute and Teaching certificate for the state of New Jersey. In College I played in multiple ensembles including the Jazz band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and Pep band. I also was an integral part of the inaugural year of the Rowan University Pride of the Profs Marching band. I currently play soprano cornet in the Atlantic Brass Band which hails from my Alma Mater.
During my student teaching I taught lessons students in grades 5-8 and band to grades 6-8. I also taught general music to grades K-4, so I know how to work with younger students. I am looking to teach any age beginner to intermediate level.
