Hello! My name is Christianna, and I graduated from Georgetown University this spring, summa cum laude, with a major in Health Care Management and Policy and a minor in Art. I will be attending Lewis Katz School of Medicine this fall. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, science, art, and standardized test preparation, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their goals.
I have several years of experience providing one-on-one virtual tutoring to middle school and high school students. My tutoring experience includes SAT preparation, Precalculus, and visual arts, including both drawing and painting. Working individually with students has allowed me to adapt lessons to each student's learning style, whether that means breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, reviewing foundational skills, or providing challenging practice problems for advanced learners. My goal is always to help students understand the material rather than simply memorize it.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I earned my EMT certification and have completed extensive coursework in the sciences through my specialized high school and undergraduate education. As someone who recently navigated the college and medical school admissions processes, took the MCAT, and earned acceptances to MD medical schools, I understand the challenges students face when balancing demanding coursework and long-term academic goals. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Whether a student is preparing for an exam, strengthening subject knowledge, or working toward a larger academic objective, I am committed to helping them succeed.
