For example, on SAT Writing questions concerning comma placement, students often guess based on where they take a natural pause. I teach them the exact grammatical rules and conventions governing punctuation, giving them the tools for consistent success.
Mastering Difficult Passages: For the reading portion of the exam, I encourage students to articulate their thinking process out loud so we can identify logical gaps. If a student struggles with a specific genre—such as 19th-century literary fiction—I will curate custom question sets containing only those passages until they achieve total mastery.
