Hi, I’m Yosef! I am a fourth year medical school student with over ten years of experience tutoring. I graduated college with a major in biology and then continued to medical school which I am graduating from in a few months. I have been tutoring students ever since high school and have continued my passion in teaching both in the formal classroom setting and in individual tutoring sessions ever since. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple ideas that students can easily grasp. With sufficient patience, I believe anyone can understand anything and I strive to model my tutoring sessions after that ideal.
I have five years of experience tutoring students in elementary and high school math both for class and standardized testing (NY State Regents and SATs).
I have an extensive science background both from my undergraduate and graduate training. I took undergraduate physics for a year and took undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, anatomy, physiology, biostats and more.
