During my own time, I enjoy expanding on my literary repertoire, learning photography, and cooking. I also enjoy playing the piano, guitar and practicing relaxation methods through the Tibetan singing bowl.
I've helped proofread multiple essays and papers of my fellow students throughout college as well as tutor high school students in their writing assignments. I am also an active writer of poetry and short stories; I currently work as an Chinese-English translator.
I practice Chinese calligraphy and I am adamant about teaching the importance of both print and cursive writing styles. How you write speaks a lot about you as a person. I am the kind of person who still prefers sending handwritten letters over emails to my close acquaintances.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music and a Master's degree in Music Therapy with a piano concentration in both.
