Experienced College Student Tutor Who Teaches Math, Science, & Music!

Ibrahim A.

Hey! I am a student at the Honors College of Rutgers University - New Brunswick, and I'm looking to help as many students as I possibly can through academic tutoring! I am a dedicated tutor with 3 year of experience helping my peers throughout high school and college in subjects like music, SAT, and mathematics. I work with students in-person and online for in-depth tutoring. I specialize in music production & performance for beginners, which includes learning instruments such as the flute & piano, music theory, and softwares like Logic Pro & Garageband. I’m also a EMT volunteer, hospital volunteer where I work in the geriatrics department, and AP Scholar with Honors with a strong background in STEM and healthcare, which has strengthened my attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to explain complex material in simple, relatable ways.

Some notable qualifications of mine are that I graduated high school as an honor graduate with a 4.43 GPA, scored a 1480 (760 Math - 720 English) on the SAT, and several high scores on AP exams such as a 4 on AP Chemistry, 4 on AP Biology, 4 on AP Precalculus, 3 on AP Macroeconomics, and a 3 on AP Computer Science Principles. I look forward to helping high-achieving students like myself to succeed in difficult coursework. In terms of music and the arts, I have been playing music for 10+ years, and some instruments I picked up along the way are Flute (10 yrs), Piano (5 yrs), and Alto Saxophone (2 yrs), as well as Logic Pro (5 yrs). I am also an awardee of the Golden Key Music Festival, and was invited to play my composition in Vienna, Austria.

I believe that every student is capable of success with the right guidance and mindset. If you are in need of help with any course available on my page do not hesitate to reach out and book with me as I am the tutor who is more than qualified to assist you!
