I am a Musician and Private Music teacher based out of Northern Jersey. My primary instruments are Piano and Trumpet, however I have also taught voice as well. I teach piano and trumpet students of all ages. My youngest has been 4 and my oldest 82. For the younger students I couple method books and fundamental piano pedagogy with fun music games to keep them active and interested. For the older students I introduce basic Music Theory and Ear Training concepts to further deepen and hone their musical abilities. I have always been extremely passionate and successful in Music Theory and Ear Training. I excelled in my high school music theory courses and scored a 5 on the AP Music Theory Exam. I earned college credit and got to skip into Music Theory and Ear Training 3 and 4 when I got to William Paterson University. I took two additional Ear Training courses and excelled in every one. I would love to help assist high school students, potential music majors, undergrads and graduate students achieve success in Music Theory and Ear Training and hopefully fall in love with it as I have.
