I hope you are well and I am delighted to share my background with you. I was once in your shoes-looking for the best support for my own children as I read reviews and asked for recommendations for the best tutors. It's a job in itself! So let me give you some insight about myself. But before you scroll onto another prospective tutor, let me give you one thought-my mission is for your scholar, your child to have an engaged learning experience.
So what is engagement? Virtual engagement looks like an hour combined with music, motion, drawing, real life problem solving, and homework. Engagement also means a collaboration between the scholar and sometimes the parent setting up tangible goals that scholars commit themselves to achieve.
What I can offer you as your scholar's tutor is my experience as an elementary educator(teaching grades K-6), specializing in math skills (former 6th grade math teacher), with a masters in elementary education, and the patience and support of a mother of two.
It would be my honor to tutor, support, and develop your scholar's skills and achieve above grade level performance.
