I'm currently finishing my undergraduate in Jazz Studies at William Paterson. Initially, I was a classical saxophonist but gradually transitioned to my true passion, jazz. I'm currently finishing my undergraduate in Jazz Studies at William Paterson. Initially, I was a classical saxophonist but gradually transitioned to my true passion, jazz. I strive to teach the way I have always been taught, applying the needed theory and technicality of the music but also promoting growth of the indivdual. Also, as an ear player I promote use of the ear, as opposed to relying solely on sheet music. All music historically was communicated and practiced by ear, especially the art of jazz music. I have 8 years of experience under my belt, and teach beginner to intermediate level on alto saxophone.

I have 8 years of experience and am currently studying under the renowned Vincent Herring. I have been in the jazz ensembles of Rich Perry, Horace Arnold, Steve LaSpina, Harold Mabern, and Chico Mendozea. In my high school years I participated in the Juilliard Winter Jazz Program, the University of the Arts Summer Program, and The Settlement Jazz Ensemble.

I have a twin brother who has autism and is on the low spectrum. Having experience and interaction with him has given me a humble understanding of people with autism and disabilities. Seeing my brother interact with my teacher at his music therapy classes spurred in me an interest in tutoring autistic students.

I am open to all questions. I'm happy to send any music of my own, and happy to hear something of you so I can assess what I can provide for you. I am a freelancing muisician and don't have a set work schedule but we would still need to communicate what time and day would work for the best of us.
