Hello, and thank you for taking the time to consider me as a tutor. I have over six years of experience working in educational settings with students ranging from early elementary through high school, including five years as a Job Coach at the high school level supporting students with disabilities and students on the autism spectrum. I have also worked with K–5 students for two years and currently coach at the middle school level. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in Philosophy and Theology, along with secondary certifications in Ancient Egyptian history. I tutor American History, European History, Political Science, Religion, and provide specialized academic support for students on the autism spectrum. In addition to classroom and coaching experience, I have worked as a writer and served as Head of Volunteers for the South Jersey Catholic Church, bringing strong communication and organizational skills into my teaching.
My tutoring philosophy centers on adapting my approach to each individual student. I believe learning is most effective when instruction is tailored to how a student processes information, builds confidence, and engages with the material. Rather than using a one size fits all method, I focus on meeting students where they are and helping them leave each session with clearer understanding and practical strategies they can apply independently. I hold all required Praxis certifications and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education to further strengthen my instructional skills. My goal is to create a supportive, structured, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing both academic ability and self-confidence.
