I have extensive volunteer experience, from my teenage years in Lebanon, Oregon at the hospital, emergency department. In medical school, I received a silver volunteerism award for my work in the community free clinic, helping to see under privileged patients. Also throughout medical school, I volunteered regularly at my local Habitat For Humanity and routinely organized group events.
