I’m a Computer Science - Economics student at Brown University in the Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME), a combined BS/MD program with a <1% acceptance rate and a guaranteed admission to Brown’s Medical School. In high school I graduated rank 1/541, scored an 800 on SAT Math, earned 5s on multiple AP exams including AP Biology and AP Calculus, and received admission offers from Princeton, Duke, Cornell, UCLA, Emory, NYU Stern, Michigan Ross, and the most competitive BS/MD programs in the country including Case Western PPSP and Penn State PMM before choosing Brown PLME. I have been teaching and tutoring across multiple contexts for several years. I currently tutor Physics at Brown University in weekly group sessions, building comprehensive lesson plans around exactly where each student is struggling. Before college I coached essay writing for over 100 students nationally, trained and managed a team of 20+ coaches, and served as a science teaching aide facilitating 30+ labs for 100+ students. What matters most to me is that my students actually understand the material, not just get through it. I remember what it felt like to struggle with something and finally have it click, and I want that experience for every student I work with. I bring patience, genuine investment in each person’s growth, and the belief that every student is capable of more than they think. For SAT Math I teach pattern recognition so students can handle anything on test day. For Biology and Calculus I connect concepts so material sticks long term. For college counseling and personal statements I help students find their authentic story because that is what gets people into the most selective schools, and I know this process firsthand.
