Hello, my name is Jiahao! I am currently a medical student at Cooper Medical School in Camden, NJ. I graduated cum laude with honors from New York University (NYU) with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, along with minors in Business Studies and Public Health. Before college, I graduated summa cum laude from Cherry Hill East.

Throughout my four years at Cherry Hill East, I spent much of my free time as a volunteer tutor, primarily tutoring and working with local middle school students weekly on homework and subject-specific help. Additionally, I worked with East students on to reinforce concepts in science and math as a member of our Cum Laude tutoring program. I also have experience working with grade school students of all ages as a teacher's assistant and counselor at the local Chinese School. Now at Cooper, I am grateful to be part of various service organizations aiming to connect with and serve the local Camden community, and one of the ways I am doing that is through local grade school tutoring, in subjects ranging from reading/grammar to science, math, and introductions to the pre-medical/medical path.

As a student, I learn most effectively with teachers who are accountable, caring, and relatable.
As a tutor, those are some of the qualities I hold dear in my teaching style. I strive to help my students as much as possible, providing any experience and tips I may have in order to ensure continuous improvement and a positive learning environment and tutor-mentee relationship.
