I am currently a 4th-year MD student who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (GPA 3.9; Neuroscience). As a medical student, I passed Step 1 on my first attempt and scored a 276 on Step 2. Since my academic performance was among the top 15% of my class, I was also selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha society at my medical school.

Since my academic performance was among the top 15% of my class, I was also selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha society at my medical school.

Given these results and experience, I am seeking to work with 4 types of students:

1. Prospective Medical Students: I offer help with AMCAS (personal statements, activities) and secondaries. Having been accepted to medical school the first time I applied, I will work with you to highlight your strengths and craft compelling application materials that help you stand out.

2. Graduate school applicants: I specialize in writing, proofreading, and brainstorming for graduate school application essays (Law school, Master's degrees, PA school, etc.). I offer thoughtful structural and line edits for your essays to help you present a compelling narrative that highlights your strengths.

3. Current Medical Students applying to Residency: I offer help with ERAS residency applications, especially if applying into Anesthesiology. Having interviewed at 17 institutions myself, including Harvard/Brigham, Weill Cornell, Penn Medicine, Yale, Columbia, Brown, and more, I have significant experience with the application and interview processes. I provide feedback on personal statements, ERAS activities, signal strategy, and interview prep.

4. Medical students studying for USMLE Step 1/Step 2/CBSE: I have worked as a tutor ever since my college years. Over the last few years in medical school, I have acted as a peer advisor and provided USMLE tutoring to current medical students at my school. I make it a priority to adapt to a student's learning style and level, and will work with you to create an organized study schedule you can reliably stick to.

I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals.

As a current 4th year medical student who was accepted to medical school on my first application attempt, I have extensive experience with putting together medical school applications and what it takes to be accepted into medical school. Over the last 4 years in medical school, I have also supported college and gap year students with their medical school applications, including personal statements, activities section, and the secondary applications. I work with students to brainstorm essays as well as proofread other application materials. With firsthand insight into what medical schools are looking for, I can support students to craft compelling narratives that highlight their strengths. I have also worked with high school students to help them prepare college application essays, primarily the Common App.

I passed Step 1 on my first attempt and scored a 276 on Step 2, corresponding to the 100th percentile. Given my academic performance was among the top 15% of my class, I was also selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha chapter at my medical school. I have also scored at the 99th percentile for each NBME Shelf exam. In medical school for the last 3 years, I have supported multiple students at my medical school with USMLE preparation, including both Step 1 and Step 2, and am now looking to do so on a larger scale.

Alexa is a awesome tutor!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Alexa was a huge help with my law school applications — she proofread, edited, and helped me finalize everything with a level of patience and attention to detail that I genuinely appreciated. She's smart, kind, and great at following instructions, even when the work is repetitive or tedious. I'd recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
