My name is Joel. I'm a husband, dad, pastor and lover of Scripture.

I have a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, 1997) and a Master of Theology in Bible Exposition (with honors cum laude; The Masters Seminary, 2002). My primary teaching subjects are Old Testament and New Testament Survey and exegetical exposition of individual books of Scripture. My teaching experience includes five years as a pastor at my current church and one year of Old Testament at a homeschool co-op in my area. I also have cross-cultural teaching experience in churches in the United Kingdom, and Bible Institutes in Croatia, and South America.

I am Trinitarian. I hold to the five solas of the Protestant Reformation: sola Scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Chritus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone). I teach each of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as God-breathed, Divine revelation which alone gives the true knowledge of God and His work of salvation, sanctification, preparing believers for service (2 Timothy 3:17-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21). I also teach the Bible from the literal, historical, grammatical method.
