Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I graduated from Ramapo College with my K–6 Elementary Education certification. I have worked with children for many years and truly enjoy helping students learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves academically.
Before teaching in public school, I worked in a preschool setting for 6 years, where I gained valuable experience supporting early childhood development and creating positive learning environments for young learners. I am now finishing my 6th year as a certified third grade teacher in public school and will be continuing in the classroom next year.
I provide personalized support in elementary reading, writing, math, homework help, and study skills for students in grades K–6. I understand that every child learns differently, and I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
As a classroom teacher, I have experience using differentiated instruction and adapting lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles. Whether your child needs extra practice, homework support, confidence-building, or help preparing for the next grade level, I am committed to helping them make meaningful progress while keeping learning positive and supportive.
I look forward to working with students and families to help make learning both successful and enjoyable!
