As an artist in New York City, I began my career as a graphic designer in 2004 with interest in animation. In 2008 I moved into the field of web-development as a freelance web-developer. For a while worked as a Junior Developer at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, where I handle the development of many website related projects. Aside from development I have tutored for the Learning Research Foundation, where I help students in web development, flash programming, design, and animation. Learning is an ongoing process for me. I love to learn and never stop looking for new things to learn.

I have an associates degree in Multimedia programming and began pursuing a unique interdisciplinary bachelors degree in a combined set of skills across the board from design, programming and animation. I left school for a time to pursue a full time opportunity. For over 10 years I have been applying my skills to freelance and full time work in a variety of different roles working with great companies and clients including clubs from the great West Point Military Academy. I can provide insight on how the industry works from an employee stance and independent contractor role. I know how the learning curve is and how to stay on top of technology.

Now I have embraced fine arts and I host in person paint instruction classes in oil and acrylics at a local shop in Burlington NJ. I aspiring to be a fantasy realism artist inspired by old fairytale stories and the Old Masters—I envisions creating a cohesive portfolio that embodies the enchanting world of fantasy realism with the classical style of renaissance rococo and baroque art.

Very knowledgeable and patient

My daughter is trying out for the school of arts. I sent her exactly what the audition would be like and she is 100% working on that with my daughter. My daughter has told me that Susan is her friend and she feels very comfortable with her.

Very knowledgeable. She is smart, thoughtful and patient.

She helped me on a hard assignment and is excellent with showing you the steps to complete it. She filled in a lot of information gaps that I didn’t get out of my course, which made it easier to understand what to do. She was great!

Knowledgeable, helpful, and a patient tutor

Susan is teaching me how to draw. She has given me feedback and advice on my drawings, and it has helped me improve. She showed me techniques on how to make a full body drawing and encouraged me to draw with charcoal sticks and explained why it's important and how it can help. She also gave me homework assignments to do and thoroughly explained how to do them. I highly recommend hiring her.
