Hi! My name is Brianna. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In college, I saw so many students struggling with a core understanding of algebra, calculus, and physics. I recognized how difficult it was for these students to complete their engineering degrees; now, I'm hoping to help students gain a strong basic understanding of math and physics so they can thrive on their journeys to earn STEM degrees. I can help you make your way through math and physics using the same methods I used to earn my engineering degree: teaching you core principles and working through practice problems with written step-by-step solutions, so you can practice how to apply what you've learned. I will break everything down into the simplest steps to ensure you have the basics down and so that we can pinpoint any lack of understanding. As an engineer, asking "dumb" questions has helped me more than anything else has in my career, so I encourage you to ask questions, no matter how simple they may seem.
Throughout college, I consistently found myself in a position to help others with coursework, such as algebra, calculus 1,2, and 3, physics:mechanics, and more. I was able to help groups of fellow undergraduate engineering students by working through problems in a lot of detail. I found this to be a great way to strengthen my teaching skills as well as my own understanding of the material. These experiences truly helped me understand how math and science continuously build on each other and intertwine, and how important it is to have a deep understanding of the basics so you can continue to expand your knowledge.
If you're looking for help with algebra, calculus, or physics, please feel free to reach out to me so we can discuss how I can help. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you reach your goals!
