I have been a passionate math teacher for over 30 years now. I've taught 8th grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Geometry and SAT test prep. Awesome teacher
Tom helped my son pass the Algebra II regents. My son previously failed and was really discouraged, I don’t even think he was actually trying anymore. Tom was able to help him grasp the concepts and I guess he gained some confidence in his self as well and was able to pass on his second try. Thanks so much Tom.

So much of making tutoring work is whether the student connects with the tutor or not. I don't expect that connection to happen immediately, but my 16 year old really enjoyed their first session with Tom and there was no doubt in their mind that it would be worth continuing.

Tom helped my daughter prepare for an Algebra 2 test. She felt much more confident and prepared after her sessions with him. He was very patient and encouraged her to think through the problems. He was also willing to spend as much time as she wanted the night before the test to help her feel prepared.
