Hi, I’m Guerino. I graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics in 2018, having a personal interest in pure mathematics. I earned Dean’s List for most of my semesters at college.
I have worked as a tutor for Mathnasium for a little over a year, tutoring students in math from elementary school to high school using Mathnasium’s core curriculum; in addition, I also helped students with their homework from school. I have also more recently worked at Huntington Learning Center as a tutor, teaching students from elementary school to high school not only in math, but also reading and writing for the younger students. I also did SAT/ACT exam prep tutoring for math as well as specific math subject tutoring during my time at Huntington. I also have some experience doing private tutoring for math.
During my time tutoring, both privately and while working at Mathnasium and Huntington, I have only heard good things regarding my students’ feedback on me, whether from the students themselves or from a supervisor. During my time at college, I received a minimum grade of A- for all of the mathematics courses that I took with the exception of one, which lends to how well I understood the math that I was learning.
