I'm a Computer Science and Business student at UNC Chapel Hill, currently holding a 3.9 GPA in the Kenan-Flagler Business School. I scored a 1560 on the SAT, which is around the top one percent, and I won a Silver Medal in the USA Coding Olympiad. I mostly tutor math, SAT and ACT prep, and beginner programming.

I've been tutoring one-on-one for four years now. Most of that was at a learning center in Bridgewater, NJ, where I worked with K-12 students on everything from elementary math up through precalculus and calculus, building a plan around wherever each kid actually was. I'm also tutoring at a center in Warren, NJ right now. On top of that I spent four years volunteering as a math tutor for students with Down syndrome, which honestly taught me more about patience and meeting a student where they are than anything else has.
For test prep, I focus a lot on strategy. A big part of a high SAT or ACT score is just knowing the question types cold, pacing yourself, and not throwing away easy points on silly mistakes, and that stuff is very teachable once you know what to look for. I usually start with a quick call to figure out a student's target and what's been tripping them up, then build from there and send notes after each session so it's easy to see what we covered. I tutor online with a shared whiteboard and I'm pretty flexible on evenings and weekends.
