I am very personable and like to incorporate real life experiences when teaching as I find that students can better understand and retain information. I have taught Sociology, Gerontology, Psychology, Diversity, Introduction to Social Work and Ethnic minorities and intergroup relations. With these classes, I have a 5/5 on rate my professor, which I have held since 2017. I have worked in mental health, geriatrics, substance abuse, social work, case management and have over 9 years of relevant work experience. I currently have a valid LSW and am currently getting my PhD in Clinical Psychology.
