Hi! I’m a professional engineer with a strong passion for math and teaching. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and neuroscience (3.5 GPA), a master’s in engineering (3.9 GPA), and an MBA (4.0 GPA). With years of technical experience and a solid academic foundation, I understand how essential math is in both the classroom and the real world.

I tutor a wide range of subjects—from Pre-Algebra to college-level Calculus—and have worked with students ages 18 to 70. I began as a volunteer tutor in college, helping peers in Calculus I, II, III, Electrical Foundations for Biomedical Engineering, and Math for Engineering Analysis. Sessions ranged from one-on-one to group formats with up to 14 students, always focusing on making difficult topics understandable.

Professionally, I’ve trained medical technicians on using lab equipment, interpreting data, and understanding quality control using statistical tools like Levey-Jennings charts and standard deviation analysis. These experiences enhanced my ability to teach technical content clearly and relate math to real-world applications.

I also bring a strong connection to youth through roles as a baseball umpire and lifeguard. I believe in teaching through encouragement, not intimidation, and always strive to make learning a positive experience.
