I am a freshman at the University of Maryland, College Park, pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. My coursework includes Calculus BC (5/5), Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science A, Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism (5/5), Physics C: Mechanics (5/5), AP Microeconomics (5/5), AP Macroeconomics (5/5), AP Environmental Science (5/5), AP Language, and advanced classes in app development and VR game design. I am an AP Scholar with Distinction and a member of multiple subject-specific honors societies in math, science, computer science, and English, as well as the National Honor Society, and I have a 1500+ SAT score.

I have tutored middle and high school students in mathematics and computer science, as well as supported peers in college courses. I have taught in volunteer programs and STEM clubs, including XSTEM and Girls Who Code, where I led workshops in web development, Python, data science, and VR game development, and organized hackathons and pitch competitions. My approach is patient, structured, and conversational: I guide students through examples and step-by-step reasoning while encouraging them to think actively and build confidence.

I have experience teaching in both one-on-one sessions and group workshops, with learners ranging from early middle school to college peers. Whether reviewing algebra, explaining linear algebra proofs, or guiding programming projects, I create a supportive environment where questions are welcomed. My goal is to help students understand concepts deeply, develop problem-solving skills, and gain confidence to learn independently and excel academically.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have extensive experience tutoring elementary (K–6) students through my local public library’s tutoring program, my school’s peer tutoring program, and other nonprofit tutoring initiatives, as well as through private tutoring. In these roles, I supported younger students in foundational math, reading comprehension, and introductory science by adapting lessons to individual learning styles and needs. My academic background includes AP Calculus BC (score of 5), AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science A (score of 4), AP English Language coursework, college-level Calculus III, and a 1500+ SAT score, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and in age-appropriate ways. I am patient, organized, and committed to helping elementary students build strong foundations, confidence, and positive study habits.
