Hi! My name is Faizan, and I am a 4th-year medical student at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, currently applying for residency in Anesthesiology while also pursuing my MBA at Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business. I scored a 258 on Step 2 CK and a 515 on the MCAT, and I use those experiences to help students build the right balance of content mastery, test-taking strategies, and confidence. Before medical school, I graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University–New Brunswick with a 3.89 GPA in Supply Chain Management, earned top marks in Calculus, and served as Vice President of the Muslim Students Association.

I’ve been tutoring for over 8 years, beginning in high school and continuing through college and medical school. My students have ranged from middle schoolers working on fundamental math skills to college students pursuing advanced science, to peers preparing for the MCAT and USMLE exams. I focus on breaking down complex material into clear, manageable steps, tailoring each session to the student’s strengths and learning style. Whether in a one-on-one setting, small group, or informal peer support, I’ve consistently seen students gain confidence and improve their performance.

In medical school, I co-led Neurology and Pain Management interest groups, conducted research in neurosurgery AI and brain injury rehabilitation, and helped organize community health booths providing screenings for underserved populations. These experiences strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to make complex topics approachable. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and results-driven—I want students to leave each session not only understanding the material but also believing in their own ability to succeed.

If you are looking for support in math, science, or exam preparation, I would love to work with you. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a session. Together, we can build the tools and confidence you need to reach your goals.

USMLE

USMLE

I am a 4th-year medical student applying to Anesthesiology with a 258 on Step 2 CK and a first-time pass on Step 1. Having recently gone through the process myself, I understand the strategies, resources, and study methods that lead to success on these exams. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces while also teaching effective test-taking skills. With my experience, I can guide students through both content review and high-yield exam strategies to help them reach their full potential.
