Hey, I'm Zach S. and I'm a drummer tutor based in Essex County NJ. I've spent the better part of the last 30 years studying the art of drumming, over which time I've amassed first hand experience in a number of different roles including; studio drummer, live/touring drummer, co-songwriting partner, and music educator. Although I have experience with, and a deep love of numerous styles of music, I've worked most commonly with acts under the umbrella of rock/pop/and punk. I always strive to keep my lessons fun. I love learning about each of my students' individual goals and tastes in music, and catering lessons around what speaks to them specifically.
I've worked as a studio drummer performing on several studio releases. Additionally I've served as a touring musician, having performed in over 40 states domestically, and upwards of 15 countries internationally. I've gained valuable experience as a co-songwriting partner, and lastly I've had the immense joy of teaching drums for the past 6 years.
