I hold a Ph.D. in Finance and an M.A. in Economics, with over twenty years of experience teaching and mentoring students in finance, economics, and data analysis. I have taught undergraduate and MBA courses such as Corporate Finance, Investments, International Finance, Financial Modeling using Excel, and Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at several universities. My professional background also includes developing college finance courses, reviewing textbooks, and improving youth investment education curricula, where I learned to make complex financial ideas engaging and accessible for different age groups.

My tutoring experience spans both classroom instruction and individualized coaching. I have worked with students ranging from undergraduate to graduate programs, as well as working professionals pursuing advanced degrees. I focus on identifying each student's learning style and building confidence through clear explanations, logical reasoning, and step-by-step problem solving. I also incorporate practical data and Excel examples to connect classroom theory to real-world applications.

As both an educator and a parent of a child with unique learning needs, I deeply understand that every student learns differently. This perspective has taught me patience, flexibility, and empathy--qualities I bring to every tutoring session. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to reach their learning goals.
