I am a Rutgers University student in the Graduate School of Education working toward my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, with a specialization in Middle School Mathematics and Special Education. In May, I graduated my undergrad from Rutgers New Brunswick with my BA in Communication Summa Cum Laude. I have worked with younger students for years, volunteering with Girl Scouts, Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD), and I have been student teaching for the past year. This semester, I am full-time student teaching in an 8th grade Algebra I class in the Rahway school district. I have also substitute taught grades K-12.
I am student teaching for Algebra I currently, and I have student-taught for the class last year as well. I have taken many courses during my undergrad at Rutgers that specialized in how to teach mathematics to different learners, so I believe my love for math and skillset/training combined will result in excellent tutoring!
As a communication major, I built my writing skills up to become an excellent writer. Grammar was a large part of my high honors academic learning throughout middle school, high school, and college. I love editing papers, teaching grammar rules, and helping student improve their overall writing.
Feel free to reach out to me! I can help make school and learning more fun!!
