I'm a professional stage manager working in New York and regional theatre, with credits ranging from new play development to Broadway-track productions. I hold an MFA in Stage Management from the Yale School of Drama and a BA from UMass Boston, and I'm a member of Actors' Equity Association (AEA).

My professional experience includes serving as Production Stage Manager at Dorset Theatre Festival and stage managing productions at Yale Repertory Theatre. That work has given me hands-on knowledge of everything from script analysis and blocking to the technical, collaborative, and interpersonal demands of putting a show on its feet. I specialize in new play development, which means I've spent years working directly with playwrights, directors, and actors as scripts evolve in the room. That perspective is especially valuable for students working on scene study, audition material, or their own writing.

I work with students on scene study and script analysis, breaking down character objectives, given circumstances, and text. I also coach audition prep, including monologue selection and performance feedback, as well as playwriting and dramatic structure. For students interested in stage management, directing, or technical theatre, I can walk through how a production actually comes together. I also teach general theatre history and dramatic literature for students who want a stronger foundation in the field.

My approach is practical and rooted in real production experience rather than just theory. I know what directors, casting panels, and stage managers are actually looking for, and I tailor my coaching to each student's specific goals, whether that's landing a role, improving classroom performance, or building confidence on stage. I'm patient, detail-oriented, and used to adapting quickly, skills that come from years of problem-solving in live theatre.
