I am a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and an incoming MD student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where I am pursuing a dual-degree physician-scientist pathway. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in chemistry, pharmacology, physiology, and clinical sciences, and I currently work alongside physicians, residents, and pharmacists in hospital settings. Through these experiences, I regularly apply complex scientific concepts to real patient-care scenarios, which allows me to explain difficult material in ways that are clear, practical, and memorable.

I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience across different settings. I currently serve as a one-on-one academic coach for undergraduate and nursing students, where I teach subjects such as physical chemistry and pharmacology and design personalized study plans tailored to each student’s learning style. I also teach pharmacy students through simulations, lectures, and workshops on topics such as diabetes management, medication safety, and clinical reasoning. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex information into logical steps, strengthening critical thinking, and helping students build confidence rather than memorize content.

In addition, I have experience mentoring students, leading academic workshops, and presenting educational sessions to diverse age groups ranging from younger students to adult learners and healthcare trainees. I have worked with students in classroom settings, small groups, and individualized tutoring environments, which has taught me how to adapt my approach to different learning needs and goals. Whether a student needs help mastering foundational concepts, preparing for exams, or improving study strategies, I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment that promotes both understanding and independence

Fantastic, knowledgeable, and very personable! Highly recommend!!

I started working with Dhristi to get a better grasp on pharmacology and anatomy before beginning nursing school, and it was incredibly helpful. She did a great job explaining concepts clearly and breaking down topics that initially felt overwhelming into smaller, more manageable pieces. I really appreciated how organized the session was and how she connected the material to real clinical situations, which made the information much easier to understand and remember. One of the most helpful parts was the practice questions we worked through together. Instead of just reviewing the answers, she walked me through the reasoning behind each question and explained why the correct answer was right and why the other options were incorrect. This really helped me understand the material more deeply and made me feel more prepared for the types of questions I might see in nursing school exams. She was also very patient and encouraging, which made it easy to ask questions whenever something was unclear. Overall, I feel much more confident about starting nursing school and tackling pharmacology and anatomy. I would definitely recommend Dhristi to anyone preparing for healthcare or nursing programs.
