I am a Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and an incoming MD student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where I am pursuing a dual-degree physician-scientist pathway. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in chemistry, pharmacology, physiology, and clinical sciences, and I currently work alongside physicians, residents, and pharmacists in hospital settings. Through these experiences, I regularly apply complex scientific concepts to real patient-care scenarios, which allows me to explain difficult material in ways that are clear, practical, and memorable.
I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience across different settings. I currently serve as a one-on-one academic coach for undergraduate and nursing students, where I teach subjects such as physical chemistry and pharmacology and design personalized study plans tailored to each student’s learning style. I also teach pharmacy students through simulations, lectures, and workshops on topics such as diabetes management, medication safety, and clinical reasoning. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex information into logical steps, strengthening critical thinking, and helping students build confidence rather than memorize content.
In addition, I have experience mentoring students, leading academic workshops, and presenting educational sessions to diverse age groups ranging from younger students to adult learners and healthcare trainees. I have worked with students in classroom settings, small groups, and individualized tutoring environments, which has taught me how to adapt my approach to different learning needs and goals. Whether a student needs help mastering foundational concepts, preparing for exams, or improving study strategies, I focus on creating a supportive and structured learning environment that promotes both understanding and independence
