I've worked with young children, adolescents and young adults become readers. I graduated from college with honors and a Bachelor's degree in English. I currently hold certifications in the areas of English (Language Arts), Special Education and Elementary Education.
I have taught in all three of those areas, within a general education setting and inclusion setting. I have experience with students who have disabilities such as ADHD, Autism, OCD, ODD and more.
I currently teach 6/7/8th grade in a Middle School in New Jersey, where I teach English and the foundations of Algebra as the Special Education teacher in an inclusion setting. I am familiar with IEP's and methods to help learners be the best version of themselves, even when learning is difficult.
I am a Mom of three, and eager to help children and adults of all ages succeed.
