I am currently working at the Elementary level both with the general ed population and for students with learning disabilities. I feel the basics need to be mastered for continual growth.
I have been teaching ELA using the Balanced Literacy Method for over 15 years. I understand what needs to be done and I strive to help students not only read and understand, but infuse a love of reading.
I work across grade levels and know the CC in all subjects. I have a Bachelors of Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education from Temple University. I also have 19 years of teaching experience.
