I am a current professor of statistics and psychology at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience in statistics, data science, and psychology. Specifically, I have over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching, as well as conducting research and doing statistical data analysis.

I am a current professor of statistics and psychology at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience in statistics, data science, and psychology. Specifically, I have over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching, as well as conducting research and doing statistical data analysis.

Learning is a collaborative process, so my favorite aspect about tutoring is helping students uncover knowledge or skills that they did not know they possessed or could achieve. This is especially the case when it comes to math and statistics, both of which can be intimidating for students at times. Making students realize their true potential when it comes to these and related subjects is what I love most about tutoring.

I have used statistics on a daily basis for the past 10 years. This includes my statistical training during graduate school; I earned a certificate in Advanced Quantitative Methods in addition to my PhD in Cognitive Psychology. By conducting research throughout my graduate and post-doctoral careers, I have become extremely familiar with a wide range of statistical analyses and data science techniques. It has also lead me to become proficient in a variety of statistical software packages and programs (e.g., SPSS, Excel, R, Stata, Mplus, Python). Whether you need help in a college- or graduate-level statistics course, or if you have a data science project you need assistance with, I look forward to using my extensive statistics training and experience in helping you achieve your highest goals.

Knowledgable and easy to understand

Michael was one of few tutors I could find all over the internet who not only knew mplus, but thoroughly understood SEM. He is able to translate complex SEM concepts to beginners and helped to have a much better understanding of interpreting data output. He was patient as well. Highly recommend.
