Hello there! My name is Tim. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Merrimack College with a minor in education. I also have a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Stockton University.

I am currently employed as a public school teacher. However, my experience is not limited to just being a teacher during the school day. I have tutored middle school, high school, and college-level students throughout my 25 years of service. I am very comfortable conducting online tutoring sessions. I will also meet students either at their house or in public settings like a library.

I believe tutoring is about getting to know the individual student in the way in which he/she learns. That's what makes tutoring easier than teaching a class of students. It's much easier to understand how one student learns than trying to balance the multiple needs of an entire class. My method is simple. I learn what the individual learner's strengths are, and then I present the math topics in a manner in which accentuates the learner's mathematical knowledge. That's what I believe successful math tutoring is.

I will do my best to help any student at any time. I have 25 years of experience doing that. Both of my parents were school teachers. I believe teaching is the greatest profession in life. All you have to do is ask, and I will do my best to help.
