I am a rising senior studying Applied Mathematics for Secondary Education at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. I enjoy both business management and anthropology, so I intend to minor in both.
My previous tutoring experiences began in high school, where I taught Spanish, Math, and Science. Currently, I work as a freelance tutor in my spare time at college. Additionally, I started substitute teaching at the Dover Middle and High schools. I can tutor both online and in person, with in-person being preferred. While I prefer secondary education (high school) students and college students, I welcome primary education students and younger students. I have young family members that I work with and teach as well, lessons ranging from identifying and associating colors to basic math and writing responses.
The ages of students I currently tutor are 18-20, however, I am open to younger or older students as well. I began tutoring 6 years ago and have been the most active in tutoring within the past year. While I work well in small groups, I prefer tutoring one-on-one so students can get the most out of their time.
As of now, this job is intended to follow the college break schedule. Although I am welcome to online tutoring any time. In my free time, I enjoy reading, clay making, spending time with family, and trying new foods. My goals for this year are to cook more food and learn Python.
