While I still consider myself as a student of Russian, I am capable of helping you through the first steps of learning Russian, including the alphabet, basic to intermediate grammar, and everyday vocabulary. I compliment my lesson plan with poems, videos, and writing to immerse my students in Russian culture and literature as they learn the language.
I have 4 years of university level Russian, including half a year spent in Russia studying at a top Russian university. I completed undergraduate thesis in Russian studies, with extensive primary source research in the original Russian language. I have an excellent understanding of grammar, good vocabulary and good phonetics. I am able to tutor from beginner to beginner intermediate at lower rates than average.
