I began working in Manchester Public Schools as a substitute teacher while raising my own three. I subbed in classrooms but enjoyed my time in the Resource Room teaching Reading and Math to small groups of students the most.
When we moved to NH I substitute taught and worked as a paraprofessional in SAU16 in Elementary and Middle School for a number of years. I also worked in the Computer Lab and other classrooms in Stratham, NH before moving to the Mt Washington Valley.

I am now carrying on a family legacy, training under Mary Schuler who is a master educator of her own Phonics and Math Programs. Mary has passed on her personally written Primer, Core and Mastery instructional manual's as well as a set of 18 phonetically paired story books as companions to her lessons. These books are full color, written by her family and introduce key words in a progressive nature. Each story has comprehensive questions at the end.
Mary has a unique style of teaching reading phonetically with a proven track record of success!
I have been training with Mary using her 30+ year's experience tutoring children in New Mexico, Idaho and Pennsylvania.
I would like to carry on Mary’s methods to create confident, skilled readers in the Mount Washington Valley.
