I am an Associate Professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where I teach acting, movement, acrobatics, physical theater, and devising. With over 25 years of experience in the performing arts, I hold an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts, with additional certifications in physical theater and movement. As the Producing Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the award-winning nonprofit Articine, I integrate the performing arts with healthcare to foster empathy in healthcare training. This unique perspective informs my teaching approach, where I create a dynamic, supportive environment that allows students to explore their creative process while honing their technical skills.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of touring both nationally and internationally, showcasing my work and earning recognition in a variety of artistic settings. This extensive experience performing across the U.S. and around the world has shaped my understanding of the global theater landscape and has deepened my commitment to creating inclusive and expressive performance spaces. I work with students of all levels, from high school theater hopefuls preparing for college auditions to professionals seeking to refine their craft. My teaching focuses on helping students discover their unique artistic voice while equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in both auditions and their future careers.
Whether in one-on-one coaching sessions or group workshops, I emphasize an experiential, artist-centered approach to learning. I guide students through the intricacies of character development and monologue work, with a strong focus on physicality, movement, and devising techniques. I encourage students to challenge themselves and think creatively, ultimately preparing them for success in college theater programs and the professional world of performance.
