I am currently the physics teacher at Hollis-Brookline High School in New Hampshire. I have recent college teaching experience at Southern New Hampshire University, Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts and Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire.

I work at all levels of fundamental physics: AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C (Mechanics and EM), IB Physics, General Physics I, General Physics II, and Modern Physics.

My goal in tutoring, that I think will help students most, is giving what I call a "visceral" understanding of the material. What *is* moment of inertia? What *is* electric potential, and why is it used? What *is* flux, and why is it so important? More than just defining concept with formulas, I try to give them context and meaning. This gives students something to "grab onto," so that the variables in the formulas start to exist not just as numbers but as things in the world.

Excellent AP Physics Tutor

So far we’ve only had our first session with Steve, but I’m already very happy with the experience. He replies quickly to messages and was extremely accommodating when trying to coordinate the schedule for future sessions. My son Matías, who is taking AP Physics, felt very good working with him. He explained everything clearly, was fully prepared for the class, and knows the material very well. He also had extra resources like slideshows and presentations that made the concepts much easier for my son to understand. Overall we’re very pleased with the results so far, and we’re looking forward to booking many more classes with him.
